Sunday Excursion! First one of 2019! NEXT Sunday 17 February: meet at the carpark at the end of Fitzgerald Place @10am Beginner (Ride Guide Nicole)
The Sunday Excursions are back! These are social rides, usually about 3ish hours in length, aimed at exploring some of the lesser-ridden gems of trails in the Wellington region, and at the same time meeting other women who love to ride.The plan for Feb 17th is to ride Salvation up to Wright's Hill, then down Scout Hall. Then we'll ride up the Karori Cemetary track to Skyline and down Wahine. (If it happens to be too windy. we'll do some off the beaten tracks in Makara Peak). This ride is suitable for intermediates and fit beginners who are comfortable on their bikes. Meet at the carpark at the end of Fitzgerald Place (off Hazelwood), ready to ride at 10:00 am.
